Born in Ostrobothnia in 2004 and now based in Tampere, Novembersoundsbetter blends metalcore, post-hardcore and melodic hardcore into a sound all their own. The influence of modern American metal comes through in heavy riffs, crushing breakdowns and melodic, atmospheric moments.
The band’s history spans three full-length albums, several EPs, plenty of shows, line-up changes, a split in 2011 and a comeback in 2014. Through it all, one thing has held: the drive to make music together and walk their own path, outside the boxes others draw.
In 2024, Novembersoundsbetter won the Tampere final of the Emergenza band contest and made it to the Finnish final.
Now the band is gearing up for their next chapter. Their fourth full-length album, What Love Meant When Love Meant Nothing, comes out in January 2027. The album was mastered by Will Putney, whose credits include Knocked Loose, Counterparts and Every Time I Die.
No stage costumes, no manufactured image. Just modern metal on their own terms, crushing energy and big emotions. Roots in Ostrobothnia, soul across the Atlantic.
Finland’s best-kept secret. For now.
